Winter Nationals 1985 - Phoenix Fairgrounds - Phx,AZ : In 1985, the Winternationals retruend to the Phoenix State Fairgrounds - with a better track than the year prior, and a new format for the Pros. This was the year of the PRO SPECTACULAR - with a separate, special Pro's-Only race held at night - featuring freestyle riders doing halftime shows, and all of the top Pro racers duking it out for bigger bucks in front of an amped-up crowd. As always - the Winternationals also hosted the annual National Awards ceremony - to the previous years' Champs.
